Cornea

The cornea is the front surface of the eye and is the first surface that light hits as it enters the eye.  A healthy regular and clear cornea is necessary for vision clarity and since the corneal nerves are very sensitive, a healthy cornea is needed for comfortable vision. Corneal diseases and degenerations are numerous. This information only address a few of the most common conditions treated at OMEG.

Take Our Cataract Self-Test

Many people are unaware that they have cataracts because the changes in their vision are so gradual, and the severity of cataracts vary from person to person. The loss of transparency may be mild, hardly impacting vision, or in some cases so severe that no shapes or movements are seen, only light and dark.
